From March 22-30, 2025, a team of 19 students and five nursing faculty and staff from Pacific Union College provided physicals, well visits, and regular physician office and dental care to 311 patients in Mana, Fiji.

It was oboist Afonso Bittencourt Brito’s first time back in his native Brazil since leaving 18 months earlier to study at La Sierra University. During spring break in March, he toured the South American nation and visited his hometown as a member of a La Sierra University Chamber Winds quintet that gave performances and master classes.

Disabilities Ministries Annual Conference: A Historic Gathering at Living Hope Seventh-day Adventist Church

After three years apart, more than 600 conference-, union-, and division-level leaders from across the North American Division (NAD) reunited in Greensboro, North Carolina, January 8-11 for the NAD’s 2023 “Replenish” Adventist Ministries Convention (AMC).

NAD Adventist Education Team Visits Guam-Micronesia Mission
During Jan. 2-20, 2023, the visiting team for accreditation from the North American Division (NAD) Department of Education spent time with students and faculty at four of the nine schools in Guam-Micronesia Mission. One of 13 divisions for the Seventh-Day Adventist World Church, NAD operates a system of more than 900 early childhood centers, elementary, and secondary schools and universities, including the ones in the Guam-Micronesia Mission.

Not long ago I attended a seminar during which the presenter asked, “What are you famous for?” I don’t remember details about the presentation, but I remember this question. Perhaps because it made me uncomfortable. And for some reason, that question has stuck in my mind. What am I known for?
