From March 22-30, 2025, a team of 19 students and five nursing faculty and staff from Pacific Union College provided physicals, well visits, and regular physician office and dental care to 311 patients in Mana, Fiji.

Chamber Winds Brazil Tour Gives Students Opportunity to Connect
It was oboist Afonso Bittencourt Brito’s first time back in his native Brazil since leaving 18 months earlier to study at La Sierra University. During spring break in March, he toured the South American nation and visited his hometown as a member of a La Sierra University Chamber Winds quintet that gave performances and master classes.

Voices of Hope in the Desert: Diné Adventist Radio Launches First FM Station
On March 19, 2025, at precisely 4:24 p.m., the airwaves above Kaibeto, Arizona, came alive with a message of hope. Diné Adventist Radio's first full-power FM station—KDHH 89.5 FM—went live, reaching listeners across Tuba City, Kaibeto, and the Western Agency of the Navajo Nation. It was a quiet but powerful breakthrough for a project years in the making.

Hundreds Baptized After Combined Evangelism Emphasis in the Dominican Republic
More than 600 people were baptized at the completion of a nine-day evangelism series that took place around the Southeast Dominican Conference in the Dominican Republic as a result of an ongoing partnership between the Atlantic Union Conference and the Dominican Union Conference. Twenty-five pastors fanned out across the territory conducting the series at various locations under the theme “Rescue of Love.”

Union College Launching Three New Graduate Programs
Union College is significantly expanding its graduate offerings with three new master’s degrees. Two of the new degrees, a Master of Public Health and a Master of Science in Leadership, will begin in August 2023, while the Master of Occupational Therapy Program will launch in 2024.

Walla Walla University’s Center for Humanitarian Engagement Launches Tool Library for the Community

Adventist Church in North America Releases New Short Film “Those Were the Good Days”
The North American Division and Sonscreen Film Festival have announced the release of a new short film entitled Those Were the Good Days. Produced by Sonscreen Films and Pacific Union College, the film explores themes of joy and parenting as it follows a father and daughter on a trip to the park.
