Beginning January 4, 2024, a North American Division administrative team visited several islands within the Guam-Micronesia Mission for two weeks. “We wanted to provide encouragement and do an assessment of needs and see how we could better support the work there,” said NAD president G. Andrews University Leadership Program Adds Social Innovation Concentration
Andrews University has developed a new social innovation concentration for the Master of Arts (MA) in leadership. The goal of the program is to develop and equip individuals as social innovators and entrepreneurs with a missionary purpose, emphasizing community impact and transformation through discipleship and service. Sung K. Kwon, Ph.D., D.Min., who recently joined the department as associate professor of leadership, serves as director of the program.
Pathfinders Gather in Oregon for North American Division PBE Finals
Pathfinder teams from across North America and the world gathered in person and remotely on April 22-23, 2022, for the Pathfinder Bible Experience division finals. Sixty-three teams gathered in person at the Lane Events Center in Eugene, Oregon, and 30 teams joined remotely. This was the first in-person division Pathfinder event since the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of the 2020 event.
