NAD Administrators Affirm Work and Assess Needs During Visit to the Guam-Micronesia Mission
Beginning January 4, 2024, a North American Division administrative team visited several islands within the Guam-Micronesia Mission for two weeks. “We wanted to provide encouragement and do an assessment of needs and see how we could better support the work there,” said NAD president G. Alexander Bryant.
“Pitching” It Forward
On Thursday, July 10, 2025, as the General Conference Session was winding down, G. Alexander Bryant wound up his pitching arm as he chose a different dinner venue — and experience — than the rest of the week. At 6:45 p.m. CT he threw out the first pitch at the St. Louis Cardinals game. From grief support to financial literacy, and from Sabbath School curriculum to evangelistic campaign planning, ministries showcased tools designed to equip leaders and members to share biblical principles in their communities.
Life Without a Box
The modernist view of reality has taught people to look at their lives compartmentally. Work is a separate box from the church box, from the family box, from the social box, etc. It is not a problem, therefore, to act one way at work and another way at church, in both worship service and Sabbath School.
