“Pitching” It Forward
On Thursday, July 10, 2025, as the General Conference Session was winding down, G. Alexander Bryant wound up his pitching arm as he chose a different dinner venue — and experience — than the rest of the week. At 6:45 p.m. CT he threw out the first pitch at the St. Louis Cardinals game. It was a rare and deeply meaningful opportunity for the president of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in North America (NAD).

Philadelphia, home to more than 35 institutions of higher learning, recently saw more than 70 young adults from across the North American Division (NAD) gather specifically to reach three of those campuses. On March 1-4, 2018, these campus ministry students focused on reaching out to Bryn Mawr College, Temple University, and Drexel University.

Sonscreen Film Festival Showcases and Celebrates Young Christian Filmmakers
The North American Division (NAD) welcomed 225 student and professional filmmakers and guests to the 2018 Sonscreen Film Festival. The three-day festival, run by the NAD, screened 47 official selections from student filmmakers. The event culminated with an awards ceremony and closing reception, with 11 student films garnering awards.

H.M.S. Richards Divinity School Receives 10-Year Re-Accreditation
In February, La Sierra University’s H.M.S. Richards Divinity School received notification that it had been awarded a reaffirmation of its accreditation through March 31, 2028.
