Already well-known as the location of Canada’s highest temperature records, Lytton went on to set an all-time high of 49.6 degrees Celcius (121.3 °F) on June 30. The excessive heat jeopardized the lives of those in the area. Then the fire came.
Ana Patterson Named 26th President of Southwestern Adventist University
The Southwestern Adventist University Board of Trustees voted unanimously on July 7, 2021, for Ana Patterson to become the 26th president of the university. Patterson has served as the interim president following former president Ken Shaw’s transition to Southern Adventist University.
