The Pacific Union Conference Department of Communication and Community Engagement is pleased to announce the appointment of Becky St. Clair as the new Associate Director for Digital Engagement. St. Clair assumes her responsibilities immediately on a part-time basis and will transition to a full-time role following the conclusion of the academic year at Pacific Union College.
St. Clair’s appointment follows a lengthy search process to fill this new portfolio. She was selected from a strong pool of applicants and will bring her communication skills and broad understanding of church communication to the task of expanding the understanding of the Adventist church in the Pacific Southwest across various digital and social platforms. She will also serve as an assistant editor of the Pacific Union Recorder and as a producer within the video production team of the Pacific Union.
St. Clair brings nearly two decades of experience sharing the Adventist story to the new position. “I have spent my career thus far as a storyteller for the church in various capacities, sharing stories of church entities across the North American Division and around the world, and I have enjoyed every single moment,” St. Clair said. “I am honored to now have the opportunity to be part of the Communication and Community Engagement team at the Pacific Union Conference, joining colleagues I look forward to learning from and working alongside.”
A graduate of Walla Walla University, St. Clair has an extensive background in public relations, editorial strategy, and institutional messaging. Her previous experience includes public relations roles at both Walla Walla University and Andrews University. She also served as the director of communications for a Christian nonprofit in Washington state and has served two terms on the board of the Society of Adventist Communicators (SAC).
St. Clair is widely known as a writer and editor, and her byline is frequently found on engaging content for Adventist ministries. Her portfolio features two collaborative book projects for the North American Division and Pacific Press Publishing Association. St. Clair has served on the NAD Year-End Meeting writing team for several years. Most recently, she served on the Adventist Review news team covering the 2025 General Conference Session in St. Louis, Missouri.
St. Clair resides in the Napa Valley with her husband, three children, two cats, and a dog. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys reading, running, hiking, and sharing meals with family and friends.
