ABC Small Group Resources

Have you ever considered starting or joining a small group, but never got around to it? Now that most churches have cancelled their on-site services and closed their buildings, it’s an ideal time to start a small group. Getting two or more families together in virtual small groups is an excellent way to share support and to boost one another’s spirits in these strange and isolated times. Because going to other homes is currently discouraged or prohibited, members can form small groups using chat or meeting platforms such as FaceTime, Skype, Zoom, or Google Hangouts.

–C. Peter Wagner

This time of social distancing and isolation is a perfect opportunity to develop this vital source of spiritual nourishment and encouragement. Your local Adventist Book Center retail store and AdventistBookCenter.com have many great books designed expressly for small group study. Take a look at the “40 Days” series or the “13 Weeks” series. If you intentionally develop small groups now during this uncertain time, you will have a stronger healthier church family when you come back together in person.
