Business Students and Entrepreneurs Participate in Hyve Conference at Andrews University
Andrews University hosted the third annual North American Hyve International Conference from March 27–29, a gathering where students, entrepreneurs, ministry leaders and businesspeople networked with fellow innovators and pitched their ideas. Through various workshops and programs on campus, practicing entrepreneurs shared their experiences and advice on how to cultivate a strong business in a way that glorifies God.

During spring break in March, he toured the South American nation and visited his hometown as a member of a La Sierra University Chamber Winds quintet that gave performances and master classes.

Adventist Community Services Accepts Donation of 150,000 Face Masks from AdventHealth
AdventHealth in Florida recently donated 150,000 face masks to ACS for use in food pantries and other areas serving communities in need. These masks which are from AdventHealth’s donation-eligible stockpiles were distributed to the Florida, Texas, and Greater New York conferences.

AdventHealth University Launches New Master’s Degree in Spiritual Care
AdventHealth University has added a new Master of Science in Spiritual Care degree to its online department in collaboration with AdventHealth, a national, faith-based health system. This is the first theological degree from the university. The mission-focused curriculum will prepare graduates to address spiritual needs in the delivery of whole-person care.

Adventist Community Services’ Expanded Partnership in New York City Means More Help For the Food Insecure
The Adventist Community Services’ relationship with City Harvest expired on Jan. 31, 2021, but the work is continuing at another level. “We are now connected with FEMA* through our City Harvest partnership,” said W. Derrick Lea, ACS Disaster Response director for the North American Division. City Harvest chose ACS because of its ability to disperse the goods they’ve received each Monday for the past nine months.
