The North American Division has multiple organizations that are separately incorporated. They provide services that are vital to the work of the church across the division, but are governed by their own boards or other structures. Often, the executive committee of the division serves as the “membership” or legal owners of the corporations, thus they also provide reports to the attendees. Below are the video reports presented by NAD-affiliated organizations.

Oakwood University

Oakwood University, the only historically black college or university owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, remains steadfast in transforming students through biblically based education for service to God and humanity. Despite challenging higher education trends, Oakwood has seen encouraging enrollment growth. The university has secured significant grants, including $1 million to enhance enrollment systems and nearly $1 million to launch a new Master of Arts in Ministry and Community Development. At the same time, its world-renowned musical legacy, including the Aeolians, continues to extend Oakwood’s global reach. Through leadership town halls and alumni listening tours across North America and the Caribbean, Oakwood is deepening transparency and strengthening partnerships. Looking ahead, the university will focus on high-value programs in health professions, ministry, and STEM while inviting NAD partners to support students through scholarships, mentorships, and internships as Oakwood leads in faith-based transformation.
