Many of our local churches love their young adults but are at a loss as to where to begin a thriving ministry with them. The North Pacific Union Young Adult LIFE Tour stop intends to bring insights and relevant, doable steps toward building a flourishing young adult ministry now. The tour’s next stop will be in Portland, Oregon, from April 19-20, 2024, at the Pleasant Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Adventist Risk Management, Inc. (ARM) has named Hunter Pettis, new manager for risk control. Hunter joined ARM in January 2016 as an account executive in client care. After leaving in 2019, Hunter returned to ARM in 2021 serving as senior risk manager for risk control.

The Mid-America Union Young Adult LIFE Tour will be held January 26-27, 2024, at the College View Seventh-day Adventist Church in Lincoln, Neb. The Adventist Development & Relief Agency (ADRA) has announced the appointment of three new vice presidents. Charné Renou has been appointed as the agency’s incoming vice president for finance; Sonya Funna Evelyn has been appointed to a newly created vice president role in the agency’s growing programmatic and humanitarian space; and Derris Krause has been appointed as the agency’s new vice president for marketing and development.

The General Conference Biblical Research Institute (BRI) and Andrews University have partnered to publish a book for general and classroom readers that theologically examines each of the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s fundamental beliefs. The title of the book is "God with Us: An Introduction to Adventist Theology."
