Chariolett M. Johnson, CMP, MTA serves as Director of Event Management Services for the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventist headquarters office, Columbia, MD. In her current position, she works with 15 different Ministry Directors with meetings anywhere from 10 to 6,000 in attendance to assist in creating the budgets for meetings, hotel contract review, counsel during meeting planning process, and on-site management support for meetings and events.
She understands the importance of staying current in the industry and has the designation as a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) since 2011 and obtained a Master’s in Tourism Administration with emphasis on Hospitality Management in 2018. Chariolett is recognized in the workplace for her calm spirit and influence with a can-do attitude! Her goal is to help set everyone up for success in the planning process for the most successful events through communication and teamwork! She feels blessed to have a job that she loves!
