Business Students and Entrepreneurs Participate in Hyve Conference at Andrews University
Andrews University hosted the third annual North American Hyve International Conference from March 27–29, a gathering where students, entrepreneurs, ministry leaders and businesspeople networked with fellow innovators and pitched their ideas. Through various workshops and programs on campus, practicing entrepreneurs shared their experiences and advice on how to cultivate a strong business in a way that glorifies God.

From March 22-30, 2025, a team of 19 students and five nursing faculty and staff from Pacific Union College provided physicals, well visits, and regular physician office and dental care to 311 patients in Mana, Fiji.

Chamber Winds Brazil Tour Gives Students Opportunity to Connect
It was oboist Afonso Bittencourt Brito’s first time back in his native Brazil since leaving 18 months earlier to study at La Sierra University. During spring break in March, he toured the South American nation and visited his hometown as a member of a La Sierra University Chamber Winds quintet that gave performances and master classes.

Reaching Hungarians in Cleveland
The North American Division Hungarian advisory ministries committee in Cleveland, Ohio, prayed for divine inspiration to best reach the Hungarian community for Jesus. The committee was inspired to put on a concert in October 2021 to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the Hungarian freedom fight and revolution.

Andrews University has recently instituted a senior research professor status for retired faculty. The position allows retired faculty members to remain professionally active with continued affiliation to the university while stepping down from full-time teaching.
