Business Students and Entrepreneurs Participate in Hyve Conference at Andrews University
Andrews University hosted the third annual North American Hyve International Conference from March 27–29, a gathering where students, entrepreneurs, ministry leaders and businesspeople networked with fellow innovators and pitched their ideas. Through various workshops and programs on campus, practicing entrepreneurs shared their experiences and advice on how to cultivate a strong business in a way that glorifies God.

It was oboist Afonso Bittencourt Brito’s first time back in his native Brazil since leaving 18 months earlier to study at La Sierra University. During spring break in March, he toured the South American nation and visited his hometown as a member of a La Sierra University Chamber Winds quintet that gave performances and master classes.

Washington Adventist University Partners with Local Laurel College Center to Expand Educational Pathways
Howard Community College (HCC) and Prince George’s Community College (PGCC), both in nearby Maryland counties, announced in March 2022 a partnership with Washington Adventist University to expand access to bachelor’s degree programs at Laurel College Center. Founded by HCC and PGCC, Laurel College Center is a Maryland regional higher education center that serves students seeking associate and bachelor’s degrees.

AdventHealth to Rename Four Chicago-Area Hospitals
AdventHealth, one of the nation’s largest faith-based health care systems, will rename AMITA Health Adventist Medical Center Bolingbrook, AMITA Health Adventist Medical Center GlenOaks, AMITA Health Adventist Medical Center Hinsdale and AMITA Health Adventist Medical Center La Grange as it completes the unwinding of its AMITA Health partnership.

Adventist Health Facilitates Donations for Ukrainian Hospitals
