Kids’ Sabbath School Magazines Still Available Free; Special Guide Issues Coming
Guide, Primary Treasure, and Our Little Friend magazines are so important for Adventist kids. Since early spring when most churches closed because of coronavirus, all three of these magazines’ weekly issues have been available online for digital download—free. In addition, Guide is mailing two special print issues to conference children’s ministries leaders and local churches that don't already subscribe to Guide.

Southern-Asia Pacific Division Adopts North American Division Family Ministries Resource for Child Evangelism Initiative
Family Ministries in the Southern-Asia Pacific Division recently adopted the North American Division Family Ministries' “Making Jesus My Best Friend” baptismal resource. After translating it into various languages in the SSD, the book is now being used in this sister division of the Adventist Church.

Wildfires Near Pacific Union College and St. Helena Hospital Force Evacuations
As of Friday, August 21, 2020, several Adventist entities and institutions in Northern California have been evacuated due to wildfires that began several days ago when an unusual heat wave and storms in the region produced more than 10,000 lightning strikes.
