Nursing Students & Faculty Return to Fiji to Serve Their Mana Family
From March 22-30, 2025, a team of 19 students and five nursing faculty and staff from Pacific Union College provided physicals, well visits, and regular physician office and dental care to 311 patients in Mana, Fiji.

The last Sabbath of March 2025 marked the Disabilities Ministries Annual Conference, hosted this year by the Living Hope Seventh-day Adventist Church in Haymarket, Virginia. Representatives from across the country joined forces to share insights, with the event live-streamed for those unable to attend in person. Wisconsin Adventist Community Services Gives Afghans a Warm Welcome
The desperate airlift out of Kabul, Afghanistan, had barely kicked into gear last month when a call went out to Wisconsin’s Volunteer Organization Active in Disaster (VOAD) group. There was an urgent need for clothing to help the displaced Afghans arriving in Wisconsin in early September with only what they had on them. Alice Garrett, the Wisconsin Adventist Community Services director started the drive for clothing with a flurry of emails for help on short notice. The response was overwhelming.
