Dr. Rohann D. Wellington is a strategic leader, communicator, and ordained
minister serving as Assistant to the President of the North American Division of
Seventh-day Adventists.

With a distinctive blend of media expertise and pastoral leadership, Dr.
Wellington’s background includes broadcast journalism experience and
denominational service as a pastor, communication and departmental director,
and assistant to the president in the Greater New York Conference. He also served
as Managing Director of Atlantic Union Adventist Media and, at the North
American Division, as Assistant to the Vice President for Digital Media and Director
of Professional Services, where he led a team in creative services, digital media,
marketing, and strategic communication.

He holds degrees in Business Management and Theology from Northern
Caribbean University, a Master of Arts in Communication with distinction, with
emphasis on Media Management and Television Production from the New York
Institute of Technology, and both a Master’s in Pastoral Ministry and a Doctor of
Ministry in Organizational Leadership from Andrews University. His doctoral work
focused on equipping church leaders to integrate emerging media into ministry.
He also mentors pastors within the Doctor of Ministry Mass Media cohort at
Andrews University.

Dr. Wellington serves as a Chaplain (Captain) in the United States Air Force Reserve
and has provided spiritual care in federal and crisis-response settings, including
with the American Red Cross. His contributions have been recognized with
congressional citations, the Folio Award for Excellence in Broadcast Journalism,
and the Department of the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal. He is married to
Lisa Reynolds.
