Dr. Minervino Labrador, Jr., known as Minner, serves as Vice President for the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists, where he oversees the department of Multilingual Ministries. He formerly served as president of the Upper Columbia Conference, which partially covers the states of Washington, Oregon, and Idaho in the North Pacific Union Conference. Labrador also served as vice president for the Southwestern Union Conference, overseeing the areas of church ministries, ministerial, and as director of men’s ministries and stewardship.
Prior to this, he served in the Carolina Conference as men’s ministries director and senior pastor of the Sharon Seventh-day Adventist Church located in Charlotte, North Carolina. He also served in the Florida Conference as men’s ministries director and pastor for many years.
He completed his Doctor of Ministry degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in redemptive leadership and healthy organizational structures. He earned his Master of Divinity degree from Andrews University and his bachelor’s degree from Southern Adventist University.
His wife, Evelyn Labrador, is a double major graduate of LaSalle University. Presently, she joins Labrador in many meetings across the territory. They have been married since 1986, have two sons, and are the proud grandparents of multiple grandchildren. Labrador enjoys RVing, classic cars, and classic motorcycles.
