LifeTalk Radio Offers Sharing Cards, Christmas Programming

The North American Division media ministry for radio experiences audience growth.

LifeTalk Radio (LTR), a media ministry of the North American Division, has reported a surge in listeners after providing free cards for people to share with others with the message “You Matter to God” and station information. The cards have grown in popularity in 2019.

“I am a community mental health counselor and am in the community and in people's homes every day of the week. I hand these out every day and people love them! Blessings!” said “Omar” in Georgia about LifeTalk Sharing Cards.

“Annette” in Tennessee recently sent this note with her order for cards: “Can I get 500 of these? We want to mail them out with our Discover Bible School Christmas mailing. Thanks!”

The cards offer a way for people to learn about the radio station and then listen.

“LifeTalk Radio is the premier Adventist supplier of radio content. What a blessing it is to hear the inspiring stories of how LifeTalk impacts listeners’ lives,” commented Ken Denslow, executive assistant to the president of the NAD.

"Just a quick note to share with you a testimony of how LifeTalk Radio is connecting people with Christ,” shared Pastor Pete Geli, LifeTalk’s volunteer chaplain/prayer ministry coordinator. “Last night [sic] . . . we received a call from a gentleman [who] had just finished hearing a program on LTR and his heart was very moved. He told me he was a backslider and was struggling trying to come back to God. I prayed with him, gave him a Bible study on God's amazing grace, and helped him reconnect with Jesus. He was so full of joy and a heart full of gratitude for this ministry.”

Geli added, “We praise God for this person who was redirected to God, and for this ministry that is reaching people at their point of need. Maranatha!”

More than 60,000 young people, hailing from more than 100 countries, will set up a tent and RV city August 5-11, 2024, as they attend the Ninth International Pathfinder Camporee at the Cam-Plex Facilities in Gillette, Wyoming.
