Andrews University hosted the third annual North American Hyve International Conference from March 27–29, a gathering where students, entrepreneurs, ministry leaders and businesspeople networked with fellow innovators and pitched their ideas. Through various workshops and programs on campus, practicing entrepreneurs shared their experiences and advice on how to cultivate a strong business in a way that glorifies God.

It was oboist Afonso Bittencourt Brito’s first time back in his native Brazil since leaving 18 months earlier to study at La Sierra University. During spring break in March, he toured the South American nation and visited his hometown as a member of a La Sierra University Chamber Winds quintet that gave performances and master classes.

NAD Adventist Community Services Commits $1.5 million to Local Conference Food Pantries for COVID-19 Relief Efforts

NAD ACS is committed to supporting the operations of the ACS food pantry ministries of the 60 local conferences within the NAD territory (United States, Canada, Bermuda, and Guam-Micronesia). In order to provide that support, NAD ACS is investing $1.5 million and allocating a grant of $25,000 per conference for relief efforts.

It Is Written Spared From Tennessee Tornado Days Before Global Evangelism Initiative

Tornadoes touched down just feet away from the It Is Written ministry headquarters in Collegedale, Tennessee, early Monday morning, April 13, 2020. Reports of power outages, missing persons, and deaths filled local news reports Monday morning. When staff went to check on the building, they were met with debris all across the parking lot and hundreds of trees snapped in half all around the building.
