9-21-17 Inter-American Division Islands Hit Hard by Hurricane Marie

This week the Caribbean islands took a tremendous hit as Hurricane Marie slammed into the islands of Dominica, the British and U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. While the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico are protected territories of the United States, they belong to the Inter-American Division (IAD). The North American Division is greatly concerned for the well-being of the people living there and has reached out to the IAD leadership for information.

Many of our members originate from, or have family and friends on, the islands and are concerned for their well-being. We ask that you join us in praying for those directly impacted by this storm and urge you to visit the IAD website at http://interamerica.org for further updates. It is our understanding that ADRA International will respond to the needs of the people on the islands. You can find out more information at www.adra.org.
Pastor Israel Leito, president of the Inter-American Division released a statement regarding the damage from Hurricane Marie. CLICK HERE to watch the video.
