Christian Record Services is pleased to announce Brian Carlson will join the Mission Advancement department as digital media manager, starting full-time on June 1, 2021.

Throughout his career, Carlson has had a passion for technology as a communication tool. He brings valuable skills and experience to the team, having previously served at College View Academy and Pius X High School, including experience teaching photography, web design, and multimedia applications. Besides his M.A. in Educational Administration and Leadership, and B.S. in English Education, Carlson earned a B.S. in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations.

Diane Thurber, president of Christian Record Services, said, "Brian has built a foundation of experience for the role he will take on, including coordinating marketing and public relations efforts, creating content for social media, the design and content of websites, and communication strategies for various key audiences."

As he looks forward to the transition, Carlson said, "It is a blessing for me to serve in this role. I started my work career with Christian Record Services over 20 years ago, and I am honored to be called back to this important ministry."

Christian Record Services welcomes Carlson to the team, as the ministry continues to move forward with its mission to “empower people who are blind to engage their communities and embrace the Blessed Hope.”
