eAdventist Reports Good News for "Endangered Adventists"

In 2013, the General Conference conducted an online survey of the North American Division. Email invitations were sent to a selection of churches and 300 of them signed up to participate. Twelve percent of the members in these churches actually filled out the survey — 1,495 people. The report indicates that this is a fairly typical response for online surveys. Of these 1,495 people, 4.55 percent were 25 or younger and 18.46 percent were 40 or younger.

Research Shows Correlation between Faith and Recovery

A new study from Faith Counts, a nonprofit, multifaith organization, led by sociologist Dr. Brian Grim of Baylor University and published in the Journal of Religion and Health, looks at the role of religious and spiritual faith in preventing and recovering from substance use disorder.

Andrews University Releases New Edition of Its Study Bible

On Thursday, September 5, 2019, the Andrews University Press will release for sale the long-awaited New International Version (NIV) of the landmark Andrews Study Bible. In addition, nearly 700 new students at Andrews will receive a complimentary copy from the university, continuing a tradition that began in 2011, but now takes place for the first time with the NIV.
