Providing transformative international study experiences through the global Adventist education network.

Adventist Colleges Abroad (ACA) helps North American students get international study experience through the worldwide network of Adventist schools. We set up programs where students can study languages, culture, and art in other countries, giving them real hands-on experience with different cultures and a broader view of the world. ACA arranges everything from study abroad programs to internships, all with the goal of preparing students to serve in international missions and follow Jesus’ call to “go and teach all nations.” We provide helpful resources and host workshops each year to connect students with these global educational opportunities.

Our Mission

Adventist Colleges Abroad (ACA) is the study abroad office of the NAD Department of Education. ACA’s consortium consists of Seventh-day Adventist universities and colleges located primarily in North America.

Our main mission is to open doors for students to study abroad at ACA-affiliated institutions while completing program requirements from their home institutions, but ACA also serves secondary school students, English as a Second Language students, and graduate students/professionals who would like to learn a language in one of our programs abroad.

We’ve proudly promoted studying abroad since 1962.

Our Vision

Strengthen connections among Adventist institutions worldwide, fostering quality programs that provide students with enriching international experiences. Through these opportunities, students develop intercultural sensitivity and a Christ-like attitude toward diverse languages and nationalities.

How we serve

  • Promote ACA programs by visiting NAD higher education and secondary institutions to engage with students.
  • Support ACA students abroad by visiting them and ensuring they have a positive and enriching experience.
  • Oversee the academic coordination of all ACA programs in collaboration with the ACA Curriculum Committee.
