NAD Vice President, Debra Brill, observes that the Adventist Ministries Convention “brings conference and union colleagues together in a unique fellowship that inspires and renews us as leaders. It’s a place to welcome those who are new to departmental ministry, to learn about new resources and, most importantly, learn from each other. It’s where we recognize accomplishments and celebrate transitions. If you are a denominational leader, it’s an experience you don’t want to miss.”
The 2014 convention will feature over 28 ministry tracks, robust exhibit events, inspirational and motivational general sessions, outreach activities, and awards given to individuals for ministry achievement.
Inspired by Philanthropic Service for Institutions (PSI) associate director Paul Hopkins, our 2014 theme is a creative play on words: “BEAutiful DeSIGN ….you are a chosen people” 2 Peter 2:9. Presentation of the theme will be in two parts. First, it will remind us of our heritage and encourage a recommitment to a personal connection with God’s plan and purpose for our lives (Jeremiah 1:5; Psalms 136:14). The second focus will be on accepting God’s call to live a life as an extension of His love, showing others the way to the Hope of eternal salvation (Jeremiah 29:11; 2 Peter 2:9) Watch the video: https://vimeo.com/53036474.
