Bio
Carol has been involved in a variety of professional experiences throughout her career as an educator.   She has taught students in K-20 settings as well as worked as an Associate Director of Education for the Southwestern Union.   Her heart is in the classroom, thus she has a special interest in curriculum, instruction, and assessment issues that will impact our Journey to Excellence.  Specific areas of interest include:  literacy development across the grade levels, concept-based learning, faith and learning integration, inquiry-based learning, differentiated instruction, and thinking/comprehension strategies.  She also enjoys traveling and exploring new places, gardening, and reading.

Associate Treasurer;  Administrator, Retirement

Bio
Del Johnson has worked primarily in denominational treasury positions. For 17 years he served as a missionary in Asia where he has been a mission accountant, an ABC manager, a youth director, a mission treasurer, a union treasurer, a healthcare system administrator and a division associate treasurer. Upon his return to North America, he served as a conference treasurer and, since 1996, has worked in the NAD retirement office. In 1999 he was appointed Administrator of the retirement plans of the NAD.

Johnson graduated from Southern Missionary College with degrees in Business Administration and Theology in 1976. He obtained an MHA from Loma Linda University in 1987.

Johnson is married to Andrea Johnson who is a registered nurse. They have two sons.

Associate Treasurer

Bio
Michael R. Jamieson, associate treasurer for the North American Division, has served the Seventh-day Adventist Church for over 25 years.

Prior to coming to the North American Division, he served as vice president and chief financial officer for Adventist Risk Management (ARM). He joined the ARM team in 2001 as Personal Risk director. Jamieson also served as treasurer for the Michigan Conference. He has also served as treasurer of the Indiana and Arkansas-Louisiana Conferences, as assistant treasurer in the New York and Southern New England conferences, and began his career in the Adventist Book Center in South Lancaster, Massachusetts.

Jamieson is a graduate of Atlantic Union College, in South Lancaster, MA, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He is denominationally certified in Trust Services, and holds producer licenses in the state of Maryland for both Life and Health Insurance.
