To facilitate
the incorporation of the disabled in all aspects of church life, including
worship, administration, and employment. |

Recommend
to the Office of Human Relations and the Human Relations Advisory.

To
promote the American Disabilities Act (ADA), Federal regulations
throughout the Division in order that administrators and church
officials will become aware of structural modifications that may
be needed to make churches and other institutions more accessible
to people with disabilities.

Recommend
to the Office of Human Relations

To promote
among NAD churches the importance of dialoguing with disabled persons
and their families to determine appropriate involvement and services
in order that the disabled within the local congregation can be more
adequately accommodated.

To encourage
the active involvement of people with disabilities who are able to
participate in the life of the church through service on boards, committees,
constituencies, as well as networking with other people with disabilities.

prepare a listing of qualified and otherwise capable people
with disabilities who wish to be considered for denominational employment. |
