ELDER ERNEST H. J. STEED, retired director of the International Commission of Alcoholism and Drug Dependency (ICPA) in the General Conference Health and Temperance Department, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, after a brief illness. He is the father of Lincoln Steed, editor of Liberty magazine.  (Back to Top)

GC PRESIDENT JAN PAULSEN’S MOTHER PASSED AWAY in Norway at the assisted living home where she had been residing.  Elder Paulsen was able to visit with her just a few days before her death.  (Back to Top)
