● IMAGINE 85 BAPTISMS OUT OF 87 BIBLE STUDIES GIVEN! “LIFTING UP JESUS,” written and used by Karen Lewis, program director for Bible worker training in the Rocky Mountain Conference, is a 30-lesson Bible study set in which the first nine lessons are all about Christ. Results have been phenomenal!

“I believe it is because that's where the power is – in Jesus,” says Karen. "John 12:32 says, 'And I, if I be lifted up will draw all men unto myself.' I believe that with all my heart and can testify to His incredible drawing power!"

They have been translated into four languages to date:  Russian, Spanish, German and Chinese. Two more translations, Laos and Braille, are currently in process. Four-color lessons are being published by Color Press and expected to be available for $8.95/set by the end of 2009. They will be available in ABCs.

Contact: www.liftingupjesus.net to download the free online lessons.

Go to Vervent’s www.veotag.com/player/?u=jsomapdiwl to view Karen’s seminar given at the 2009 Adventist Ministries Convention.

● DECISION MEETINGS are scheduled on the Hope Church Channel (HCC) to help move people who are in the valley of decision to be baptized:

● NEARLY 2,200 WOMEN ATTENDED THE WOMEN’S MINISTRIES CONVENTION, “Free Indeed,” held in September in Dallas, Texas. “Two years ago we were hoping and praying for 1,500 women. A year ago, when the recession hit, I lowered my sights and I prayed for 1,000 women. Praise God, He has exceeded my wildest dreams!” said Carla Baker at the Friday evening general session.

There have been six known baptisms resulting from the convention, so far. Four were rebaptisms. During the convention the attendees participated in 10 “God in Shoes” outreach ministries to area shelters, hospitals, homeless child daycare, food pantries and other help centers.
