■ REMEMBER THE BLIND — When you hold outreach meetings Christian Record Services (CRS) can send letters of invitation to every blind person who lives in the given community. You can give CRS your evangelistic schedule for 2009 and they will automatically send letters of invitation.
CRS also has 6-7 sets of Bible courses in Braille and large print which serve very well as nightly handouts for the vision impaired.
Contact: David Klinedinst, at 402-488-0981, Ext 246, or email email@example.com for more information. Both the Bible lessons and the mailing promotion are free.

■ TORNADO DESTROYED ARDMORE ADVENTIST ACADEMY — The unseasonable EF4 tornado that ripped through Lone Grove, Okla. Tuesday also tore through Ardmore where it destroyed 24 homes and the Ardmore Adventist Academy. The roof is gone, and only parts of the front and back walls are still standing. The pecan grove owned by the school was also wiped out. No vehicles or people were at the school at the time, so no one was injured or killed. Efforts to get to the school were hampered until Wednesday afternoon due to downed power lines and large trees.
Adventist Community Services is setting up a 16-foot trailer next to the school with supplies to serve the community.
