NAD Day of Prayer Event January 3 Moved to Hope Channel 

Urgent message from Hope TV:
Due to an unforeseen technical problem, this event must be moved to Hope Channel. We apologize for any confusion caused by this change and we thank you for your understanding and assistance in getting the word out to your constituencies.

Silver Spring, MD — Derek Morris, senior pastor at the Forest Lake Adventist Church, and author Ruthie Jacobsen, director for the North American Division’s (NAD) Prayer Ministries, will co-host a live broadcast with a special emphasis on intentional prayer. The event is part of the launch of the NAD’s 2009 “Share the Hope” evangelism initiative.

All churches and their members are encouraged to watch this program on Hope Channel and join this call to prayer for the Year of Evangelism, asking God to move in ways not witnessed before. Local pastors can continue the season of prayer after the broadcast concludes to pray for their own specific plans for outreach in 2009.

The broadcast will include a video clip from Don Schneider, President of the North American Division; a live message from Pastor Ron Clouzet, secretary of the NAD Ministerial Association and director of its Evangelism Institute; music by Charles Haugabrooks, and additional taped and live testimonies.

Hope Channel will broadcast this NAD day of prayer on January 3, 2009. The one-hour event airs live at 2:00 p.m. ET from the Forest Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church near Orlando, Florida, and will be rebroadcast at 5 p.m. ET.

Please note: It is still vital for satellite dish owners to ensure that they receive Hope CHURCH Channel for other special events in the future. Hope Church Channel is a supporting channel of the Hope Channel network and carries special event programming such as conferences, training seminars, and camp meetings.
