■ THE NAD DAY OF PRAYER 60-MIN BROADCAST, January 3 will be live on the Hope Church Channel at 2 p.m. ET, rebroadcast at 5 p.m. ET.

 Participants will include Derek Morris, Ron Clouzet, Ruthie Jacobsen, Dwight Nelson, Don Schneider and others.

 Please ask your churches and members to join this call to prayer for the Year of Evangelism, asking God to move in ways we have not witnessed before.

■ MARKED DOWN – ADVENTIST PREACHING DVD SERMON SERIES are on sale for the holidays. More than 22 to choose from, including two signature editions.

■ THE ALL-NEW FORMAT FOR VOICE OF PROPHECY WILL BEGIN the weekend of January 3-4. All 2009 broadcasts will be brand new, featuring the new on-air team. The weekend broadcasts will feature Speaker/Director Fred Kinsey, who will share messages focusing on some of his favorite texts. He, with co-host Connie Vandeman Jeffery, will also interview interesting authors, mission workers and others about spiritual topics. Joining the broadcast with occasional segments will be Emmy Award-winning reporter Willa Sandmeyer, who will bring field reports featuring people whose faith is making a difference in the world as they reach out and touch lives for Jesus.

 The daily broadcast will feature Pastor Mike Tucker and Pastor Elizabeth Talbot in great conversations about the Bible. The Monday-Friday broadcasts will start January 5, throughout January and February, and they will look at the Gospel of Matthew, with special emphasis on the ways that the life of Jesus fulfilled Old Testament prophecies.

■ SEEDS ’09, JUNE 8-13, WILL BE HELD AT ANDREWS UNIVERSITY, in Berrien Springs, Mich — The theme will be, “A Light in Every City, Town, and Village.” This powerful, multifaceted conference offers equipping, resources, and networking for all levels of church planting, including introductory seminars, beginners pre-launch to 1 year post-launch, and Church Planter Connect for the experienced planters. THE REUNION for Small Groups and Cell Churches will celebrate what God is doing worldwide and look to the future. Features include World Religions in North America, House Church Summit, and the evening series by Dr. Paul Ratsara: Faith... Where God’s Power Prevails.

■ 2009 BEST PHOTOS CONTEST —  Adventist News Network (ANN) is looking for photos that capture life in the Seventh-day Adventist Church around the world. Anyone may submit photos between now and the end of 2009 for a chance to be published on ANN during 2009, beginning January 1. Photos selected for publishing on ANN are eligible for consideration in the ANN 2009 Best Photos Contest.

 Youth ages 14-17 can submit photos for the ANN 2009 Best Youth Photos Contest by April 1. Winning submissions will be published the week before the Adventist Church's International Youth Sabbath April 11.
