SEEKING STORIES OF FAITH, or more specifically, thrilling stories of sharing, witnessing, and of revival and conversion. Brad Forbes needs fresh stories on a regular basis to encourage the idea of working for others and to bring them to the Lord. They should illustrate the rewards, the blessings, the changed lives, the excitement and spiritual revival that comes when sharing one's faith. The stories will be used on a rotating basis on the 2009 Year of Evangelism web site at www.yearofevangelism.com.

Contact: Bernadine.Delafield@nad.adventist.org to send the stories.

SOUTHERN ADVENTIST UNIVERSITY (SAU) BAPTIZING THOUSANDS —  “Inexperienced students from SAU led 4,561 to baptism this summer!” reports Dr. Carlos G. Martin, director of SAU’s Evangelistic Resource Center.

In 2001 Southern Adventist University started requiring all theology majors to conduct a full evangelistic campaign before graduation. In 2005 SAU experimented with non-religion majors and today most of their preachers are non-religion majors. SAU believes that they are preparing more than just pastors who believe in evangelism and know how to do it effectively. They are preparing committed Christians who will serve the Lord in any area of work and ministry. Since 2001 SAU has sent 392 preachers and led 11,844 people to baptism!

Behind these numbers there are wonderful stories! SAU is willing to share testimonies and experiences in the form of an article, a seminar on evangelism, or a devotional/motivational presentation in your conference, classes, churches, or committee meetings.

Contact Dr. Martin at 423-236-2944, if you would like to have a short DVD with some stories and testimonies.
