■ NEED MOTIVATION AND NEW IDEAS FOR HEALTH MINISTRY OUTREACH? More than 25 seminars will be taught at the Health Certification Training Program, Health Summit Orlando, “Tell the World Christ Brings Health and Wholeness.” It will be held February 1-9 in Orlando, Florida, and the registration deadline has been extended to January 29.
Some brand new offerings this year are: Forgive to Live, Reaching Out to Your Community, Foundations of Health Ministry (college credit), Women’s Health, and Black Family Health.

■ 2008 YOUTH LEADERSHIP SUMMIT/CONVENTION, February 14-17 in Dallas, Texas — Early bird registration has been extended to January 31. For the first time, the biannual Summit will include a comprehensive young adult ministry concentration offering the best practices, dynamic worship, and experiential learning experiences for those passionate about discipling young adults. Important issues, such as sexuality, postmodernism, social justice, spiritual formation, and campus ministry will not only be addressed, but practical solutions, relevant models, and successful initiatives will be exhibited, experienced, and exchanged.
■ FREE TRAIN-THE-TRAINER VBS SESSION — February 2, at the North American Division headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland. Open to Vacation Bible School leaders, conference directors, local church Children's Ministries Coordinators, educators, and more!
It's free (lunch included), and a great opportunity to preview "Castles & Crowns," this year’s VBS program produced by the Review and Herald Publishing Association in cooperation with the North American Division.

■ SONSCREEN FESTIVAL 2008 – The call for entries for the sixth SONscreen Festival is now open. It will be held April 10-12 at the Adventist Media Center in Simi Valley, California. There will be screenings each evening of outstanding films created by talented Adventist and Christian film makers from around the nation and the global community. This year workshops will cover script writing, secrets of great cinematography, and the art of capturing the story through documentary film making. On Sabbath afternoon a panel of experts will discuss, “Behind the Scenes: The Gospel in the Trenches of Hollywood."
Submission Deadline February 4. Late Deadline February 11 (additional fee required).
