■ A DIVISION-WIDE RECOMMITMENT AND COMMUNION SERVICE, “From the Heart,” will be officiated by NAD President Don Schneider. It will be broadcast live on Hope TV Friday evening, December 28, at 8:00 p.m. ET and repeated two hours later.

Contact: www.nadadventist.org for details in the News section and to download fliers or bulletin inserts.

■ DON SCHNEIDER'S INTERVIEW WITH RALPH CARMICHAEL on Really Living will be aired twice in November as a special on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). This network covers 95% of the United States and has nearly equal coverage around the world. The show was edited to 30 minutes at TBN's request. Though subject to change, the program is scheduled for November 14 at 12:30 p.m. ET and November 20 at 4:30 a.m. ET.

■ “THE COLLECTED WORKS OF PIONEER PREACHERS” is a special timeless 3-DVD series from Adventist Preaching. Six actual sermons and talks delivered by pioneers in the late 1800s are reenacted in period costume. Learn the historical significance of the sermons from the beautiful booklet included with the set. Great for church services, Christmas gifts, youth groups, in-home viewing, and more.

Contact: 800-ACN-1119 or www.acn.info (disable pop-up blocker) to learn more and to order. Also available at AdventSource, 800-328-0525. Regularly US$29.95. On sale for US$26.95.

Through December 31, save up to 32% off of a 17-volume set of Adventist Preaching editions (now US$295), including the two signature editions:  “The Collected Works of Renowned Black Preachers” and “The Collected Works of Pioneer Preachers.

■ DON'T MISS HEALTH SUMMIT ORLANDO, FEBRUARY 1-9 — Several brand new seminars will be offered in addition to many of the "regularly-scheduled" seminars. Plenary speakers include P. William Dysinger, MD, MPH; Don Mackintosh, BSN, MDiv; David Williams, MPH, MDiv, PhD; Dick Wynn, PhD.

Contact: www.nadhealthsummit.com for a brochure and details.

■ RECONNECT WITH INACTIVE AND FORMER MEMBERS — Programs don't win people back to church. People do! 28 percent of those who have left the Adventist Church did not do so due to disagreements with the church’s teachings. They did not feel a sense of belonging and lacked meaningful involvement and relationships to the local congregation and its mission. A contact from a church member is vital to getting inactive members engaged in church life again. The holidays are an excellent time to reconnect.

“Welcome Home” is a guide for personalizing invitations to Home Coming Sabbaths, to reach and reconnect with former and missing church members.

Contact: http://creativeministry.org/transaction_detail.php?id=35 for details about components of the Welcome Home curriculum and other reconnecting resources.

■ NET 2007 HEARTQUEST IS ENDING SATURDAY NIGHT, November 3. In addition to viewers at more than 500 registered sites, people are watching on Hope TV from their homes and on the Internet, where the program is streamed live at www.hopetv.org. The response to this innovative series has been overwhelmingly positive. Spread the word and invite your friends to tune in for the conclusion of the series on Friday and Saturday nights. In English, Spanish and French. Times: 8:00 - 9:00 p.m. ET/MT; 7:00-8:00 p.m. CT/PT. Sabbath worship service will be 11:00 a.m. - 12 noon and 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. ET. CT and MT zones can record and use as is convenient.

 Contact: www.heartquest.tv for more information.
