■ OUT OF THIN AIR, It Is Written's 4-night series about the creation/ evolution debate begins Friday night. Support your local churches and downlink sites by attending.

This series has piqued the interest of many atheists and a number of them will be attending the event to hear what we have to say on the matter. It Is Written solicits your prayers as these people enter through the doors of their local church ...many for the first time.

Contact: www.thinairevent.com or 877-527-7327 to find a site near you.

■ ONLY 21 DAYS UNTIL HEARTQUEST  NET 2007 — Churches and private homes are still signing up to show the 13 grace-filled messages from Mike Tucker. He will present the basic beliefs of our church in the light of the Gospel, showing the value of each doctrine as a tool in our journey toward intimacy with God. The goal is to find in Him the love and fulfillment our hearts have always longed for.

Contact: www.HeartQuest.info/host to register and download materials.

■ HEARTQUEST MATERIALS — The Home Resource Packet provides small quantities of books and door hangers suitable for most neighborhood meetings. Also there are downloadable fliers for home hosts that can be adapted to HeartQuest.

 Contact AIM: www.aimministry.org/heartquest.

■ CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES’ GO FISH CONVENTION — The Go Fish Convention, in Loma Linda, California, November 8-11,  will provide training and the most current research and information on the 21st century child. Children’s Ministries’ goal is to reach across cultural, socioeconomic boundaries and replace the secular worldview with a biblical worldview.

Contact: www.gofishconference.net  and www.plusline.org for more information.

■ OREGON CONFERENCE PURCHASED 26 BILLBOARDS around the state promoting “Out of Thin Air.” They will also help lead up to the city-wide evangelistic campaign that It Is Written will be doing in Portland in the spring of 2008.

■ “07 REVIVE” STREAMING VIDEO — If you missed Doug Batchelor’s “Here We Stand: Foundations of Our Faith” series, September 7-15, you can see it anytime via streaming video on the Internet.

 Contact: www.07revive.com.

■ PRISON MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES — Pen pals needed. Many members would like to minister to prisoners but are afraid. “Someone Cares,” a North American Division volunteer prison ministry, takes the risk out of personal correspondence by offering a central anonymous “post office” for mail to prison inmates. This removes the need for exposure of personal information and whereabouts. “Pen names” can be used. All mail is screened and forwarded both ways for risk free correspondence.

Contact: sdapm@someonecares.org or go to www.someonecares.org for more information and to request a name. Full instructions will be sent.

■ ANNUAL COUNCIL DEVOTIONALS WILL AIR LIVE ON THE HOPE CHANNEL, Friday October 12, and Saturday, October 13.

Contact: www.hopetv.org for the schedule or to watch live streaming online.

■ PUT THE ADVENTIST CHANNEL ON YOUR WEBSITE — It’s easily done by just adding the HTML coding to your website where you want it to be.

 Contact: lynetta.murdoch@nad.adventist.org for instructions.
