Ministry Description
Adventist Information Ministry (AIM) is an evangelistic contact center and satellite support department sponsored by the North American Division to assist Media Ministries and local church outreach endeavors. AIM answers inquiries generated through TV, Radio and Internet broadcasts of such entities as It Is Written, Voice of Prophecy, Breath of Life and Amazing Facts. Local churches with media presentations, meetings or seminars to which they wish to invite the public, also can contract our services, short or long term. Our satellite service center supports the NET series and other Division-sponsored satellite events.
AIM provides live Seventh-day Adventist operators to answer calls and web or social media inquiries from persons expressing interest in Bible studies, prayer, or pastoral guidance. Operators also take orders and handle registration services. Helping interested persons connect to their local Adventist congregation is a primary goal.
Our contact center is located at Andrews University where we employ students, many of whom are seminarians. A very important part of our mission is providing young people with a meaningful ministry opportunity along with funds to finance a Christian education. While at AIM these students benefit from AIM’s professional business environment. They also become involved with the important work of our media ministries. This association creates an awareness that we hope will result in life long support as they leave school and fan out to local churches around the country.
This extremely vital ministry of the North America Division is the link between media ministry and actually connecting with the local church. When the heart and mind are prompted by the Holy Spirit to seek knowledge, we are here 365 days a year, to respond. There is nothing like the personal touch- we connect!
