Ministry Description
Children's Ministries offers training, resources, and support for those who teach and lead children at church. The conventions we hold across the division are advertised by direct mail to churches and through our web page. The programs we resource include: Sabbath School, Vacation Bible School, Children's Church, and Children's Sabbath. 

Bio
Phyllis Washington serves as the Children's Ministries director for the North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. She has served as a chaplain in a children's hospital, a local conference children's ministries director, and has been involved in every aspect of children's ministries for 40 years. Phyllis is married to William Washington. They have a blended family of 14 children, 40 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Her passion is that all children, regardless of socio-economic or cultural background, come to know and love Jesus Christ.
