— RESOURCES —

■ “SEVEN IN SEVEN IN 2007" is the brainchild of Don Schneider, for 1 million Adventists to share 1 piece of literature every day for the week of April 7-14, to equal 7 million pieces of literature distributed. “Imagine what God can do with that!” says Don. NAD publishing houses, the Pacific Press and the Review and Herald, are teaming up to provide sharing materials.

Contact: www.nadadventist.org and look for the news story for more information.

■ EDUCATION SABBATH WILL BE APRIL 22 — It’s a special day for promoting Adventist education. Statistics show that 80% of graduates from Adventist academies finish college, as compared with 14% from public schools. They receive daily exposure to spiritual principles and make Adventist forever friends.

Contact: www.nadeducation.org/dynamic.html?wspID=464&wscID=140 where the NAD Education Department is well prepared to help you with for more information, sample sermons, special bulletin covers, DVDs, and more.

If you have had a positive experience with Adventist Education that you would like to share with other potential parents and students, visit www.nadeducation.org/why/post_testimony.html and send your story to the Education Department. If your testimony is chosen it will be featured on the website to inspire and educate others.

■ SEEDS 2007: MAXIMUM IMPACT CONFERENCE, will be held June 5-9, at Andrews University. Early-bird registrations rates available through April 17. SEEDS 2007 is for pastors and leadership teams, church planters, and any church member who wants to make an impact in their community for God. Try to choose one from four pre-conference “Boot Camps on subjects such as discipleship, gang ministry and mentoring, studying the Bible with neighbors and friends, and church planting.

Five Elements for Maximum Impact will be studied during the conference: The Baptism of  the Holy Spirit, Effective Leadership, Members Equipped and in Ministry, Discipleship Groups, and God-centered Coaching.

Also available, June 3, 4, are pre-conference “Holistic Small Groups and Cell Church Planting Intensives.”

Contact: www.nadei.org/article.php?id=72 for more information and to register.

■ PROFESSIONAL GROWTH SEMINAR for ministers, April 18, 1:00 – 4:30 p.m. ET. This is a great opportunity to invite and get acquainted with pastors from other denominations by inviting them to the Adventist Church for this event. This year’s theme is, "For Such a Time as This: Preaching Truth in an Age of Idolatry." It will be broadcast LIVE from Cambridge, England, in conjunction with the International Congress on Preaching.

Speakers include Barry Black, Randy Roberts, Dr. Gordon Moyes, and Robert Smith, Jr.

Contact: www.ministerialassociation.com for more information and to register.

■ PURCHASING FOR ADVENTIST INSTITUTIONS — Adventist institutions can buy from vendors on the National Account web site. Some vendors in the National Account Program will also sell to individuals.

 Contact: www.purchasing.adventist.org.

■ CAN’T GET HOPE TV because of too many obstructions for a satellite dish to receive a signal?  Now you can, if you have a computer and an Internet connection.

Contact: www.hopetv.org for live, high speed Internet Streaming.

— INSIDE SCOOP —
