■ THE ADVENTIST HEALTH STUDY STILL NEEDS MORE PARTICIPANTS, and it's not too late for church members to return their questionnaires. If someone has lost their questionnaire, they can be sent replacements in the mail.
Contact: www.adventisthealthstudy.org to enroll or to contact study directors to request a replacement questionnaire. It is important to complete them soon. Check out the progress results so far, and see what churches and conferences are excelling in their participation.
■ “THE SEVENTH DAY, REVELATIONS FROM THE LOST PAGES OF HISTORY,” a five-part documentary series tracing the history of the Sabbath, will premiere on the Hope Channel and Esperanza TV beginning April 6. It will be shown at various times through May 7, in both English and Spanish. The series highlights 2,000 years of conflict over the Christian day of worship in countries such as China, Rome, and Russia. “The Seventh Day” features interviews with more than 50 Catholics, Jewish, Orthodox and Protestant scholars. It is hosted by Hal Holbrook, and was created with the general television audience in mind.
