Pastors and Evangelism Coordinators: You Can Be the Voice of Prophecy in Your Community! VOP Local is empowering local churches with cutting-edge, easy-to-use evangelism resources. Here’s just a taste of two of them: If your church hasn’t done so already, now is the perfect time to register for the September 15-17 Shadow Empire encore event across North America! This short series, which addresses modern-day religious freedom by exploring the life of Constantine the Great, was filmed on location in Europe and the Middle East. After each program, the local pastor leads the group through a short Bible study, then invites visitors to join the church’s ongoing Bible study (or another event) at the conclusion of the series. Click here for more info.

And each month VOP’s evangelism team produces a brand-new “Shop Talk” training session—sharing the A to Zs of evangelism and Bible work. Thus far, five episodes are available, featuring topics such as “Gaining Decisions for Christ” and “Learning to Deal With Objections.” Pastors can learn more and register for free at www.voplocal.com.

HE SAID GO Missions Conference 2016: The purpose of this conference, to be held on Nov. 18-20 in San Diego, Calif., is to serve as a catalyst for missions, not only overseas, but also in domestic service. It is our prayer that our local church members become active in their communities and abroad. In order to accomplish this task, we are inviting medical professionals, our union and conference leaders, university/college presidents and their respective chaplains, along with their missions coordinators, to be part of this special gathering. We are also inviting youth directors, youth pastors, academy chaplains, and young adults. From Native American mission opportunities, including the Siberian Eskimos in northern Alaska, to Guam-Micronesia Mission territory, it is our prayer that everyone attending will choose to respond to the opportunities of service that God may present to them. Value in Brokenness

“Sometimes it really is in our brokenness that we’re able to be most effective to other people and their brokenness. And they’re able to see that we're real, we’re going through the same struggles, but we have a hope that we can share."

Processing assistant in the NAD Office of Volunteer Ministries,
speaking at the Aug. 17, 2017 NAD worship

Reaching Out in Love

Did you know God gives us the power to obey Him?

Salvation is all of grace and not of works, but its fruitage is obedience to the Commandments. This obedience develops Christian character and results in a sense of well-being. It is an evidence of our love for the Lord and our concern for our fellow men.
