The Just Claim It Prayer Conference
concluded its three-day event with an address from North American Division President Daniel Jackson, who asked the attendees to continue the strong spiritual foundation they had built during the meetings, prayer sessions and recreational activities organized by the Youth Department of the North American Division. The bi-annual event, themed The World Changers,
was coordinated by the youth directors of the Pacific Union Conference, which includes the territories of Arizona, Nevada, California and Hawaii.
Jackson told the story of the first time he built a house and the possible conflict that arose when the building inspector advised him that there was a possibility that it had been built on the wrong property. Once Jackson told the inspector who had laid the foundation, the conflict was ended because the builder had a reputation of never making mistakes. “We need to have a foundation built on Jesus,” Jackson shared. “He must be in the middle of everything we share or do.”
Continuing his challenge to the young attendees, Jackson reminded them of the role that God calls them to play in the church, “God did not chose my generation to finish the work on this planet, He has called your generation. You will finish the work reaching the lost. Jesus is coming soon and he is calling you! Your church needs you. The church wants you. This work will be finished by your generation!”

At the conclusion of his remarks, Jackson thanked the more than 80 teens that had volunteered to lead the small study groups that met each day of the conference, and then asked them to join him on the stage for a prayer of dedication. Turning to the audience before his prayer, he asked them to stand and dedicate their lives to serving Jesus and sharing Him with others.
This year's Just Claim It Prayer Conference, was the fifth sponsored by the North American Division. Organizers announced that the next conference will be held in Toronto, Canada in early 2018.
