A strong storm completely destroyed Blue Mountain Elementary School
Thursday evening, July 9, taking off the roof, and scattering building parts for several hundred yards and in the tops of trees. Principal Rachel Wardecke was alone in the building at the time and crawled out of the wreckage with no serious injuries. After the storm, Blue Mountain Academy Principal Dave Morgan went to look at the damage and discovered an amazing sight: a completely undisturbed picture of Jesus on one partial wall still standing!
