The Ebola Crisis fund raising campaign is pressing forward. ACS continues to raise funds for Ebola survivors and others who have been affected by the outbreak of this deadly virus.

Based on the conditions and needs that these families are facing, Adventist Health International, Adventist Disaster and Relief Agency (ADRA), and the Department of Health at the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists are responding to the needs in the various countries in West Africa.

Multiple projects are simutanously running throughout the affected areas, including:

  • Donating Christmas packets for surviviors in Liberia
  • Distributing Personal Protective Equipment in Sierra Leone and Liberia
  • Sending teams to disinfect rooms and personal belongings prior to the return home of survivors
  • Providing equipment to restore houses burned down by neighbors concerned for the spread of the virus
  • Providing medicine for the infected
  • Assuring medical attention, and many more related projects
Fundly, a crowd sourcing site, has been established for this initiative. Thus far, NAD and ACS have raised more than US$100,000.
