More than 8,000 Bible study requests have come to the Voice of Prophecy (VOP) through collaboration between the Mountain View Conference (West Virginia and part of Maryland) in a project to blanket the conference with offers of free Bible study guides to every household. VOP provided training for members making visits, obtaining decisions, and giving Bible studies, along with ongoing follow up.

Kettering College is in the process of developing the school's first doctoral degree, an Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) program. Terrance Anderson, OTD, (pictured) has been hired as the founding director for this new academic offering.
Currently, there are only five accredited entry-level OT doctoral programs in the U.S. In addition to Kettering College, seven other schools nationally are currently listed at AOTA.org as applicant programs, and six more already are in the midst of the accreditation process.
The earliest proposed date for the first cohort of OTD students to begin is Fall, 2014.
Kettering College is seeking prospective applicants for the OTD faculty, both full- and part-time. MORE

CALLED: A Visit to Loma Linda University Church

Pablo Ariza, Associate Pastor at Calimesa, Calif., spent a week of mentoring with LLU church Senior Pastor Randy Roberts. LLU Church is perhaps the largest Adventist Church in North America. Pastor Roberts is known for his compelling biblical sermons.
Watch the life cycle of a sermon from conception to delivery as Pablo checks in every day to see how the sermon is progressing, what hurdles Randy faces before delivering it to thousands in the congregation, and via satellite and streaming. Pablo returns home inspired by Randy’s courage as he leans in to the relentless responsibility of preaching week after week after week.

One Book Results in 700-Plus Baptized (So Far)

Multiplication happens when we share, but when we share our faith, God works in mysterious ways through the principle of "divine math." A literature evangelist sells a book, someone reads it and is converted, then entire families, then congregations. As Adventists, we've heard and loved many such stories.
This story about the Tyson family began more than 200 years ago with a single book. Imagine how much easier, faster and farther the digital "streams of light" can now travel! Try to imagine all the connections that will be revealed in Heaven when we can trace back to see how people who've come after us have found Jesus through a book or magazine we have shared.
