Resources

Military Bible Kits (MBK) are offered by Adventist Chaplaincy Ministries (ACM) for Adventists serving in the armed forces to help link them to the Church during challenging periods in their lives. The MBK reminds them that their Church cares.  Pastors or elders are encouraged to present the kit to a young adult Adventist entering the armed forces during a Sabbath service.  After encouraging the young adult to be faithful to Christ and witness for Jesus in their new journey, the pastor or elder might offer a prayer of dedication and then present the kit as a gift from the church. Churches can get the kits from a local or union conference or ACM and also from AdventSource (800-328-0525).
