Former NAD President Don Schneider sent an update on his health after seeing doctors in Washington, D.C. who treated him for the returning cyst on his brain which affected his sight in 2006. He received an MRI and visited with his surgeon and opthalmologist. Both provided good reports. The ophthalmologist who checked his field of vision said that the results could not be better. The neurosurgeon told him that the MRI shows no evidence of foreign material in the brain, and that I could not have had better results to the MRI. "I told him that I was thanking God for the good report and for the work that he (Dr. Aulisi) had done for me," says Schneider. "He told me that it would be impossible to do the work that he does without a lot of prayer."
"It seemed to me that I had spent my day with some of the best doctors in Washington, and that God had blessed their work in a way that miracles resulted for me. Once again, as I left the hospital, I drove to the corner looking for the street signs. I thanked God that I could see them," Schneider said. He ended his message with, "I’m back in Texas again where Marti and I are planning another tour in Germany and Italy for March and another one for Germany in September. They will be Tours 39 and 40. We are truly blessed!"
     NAD is thankful too!

How to Give Bible Studies

"Giving Bible studies in the home is a 'heaven-born idea' because
•  It develops workers who will become mighty men and women of God
•  It is a work that will not go unrewarded
•  It leads people to an individual search of the Word of God
•  It is one of the most successful ways to win souls to Jesus."

Some very simple tips on giving effective and successful Bible studies are, 1) Prepare (pray with promises from God, study the topic and think of illustrations); 2) Confirm the appointment; 3) Arrive on time; and 4) Study ahead. MORE: Southwestern Union Record, December, 2013, pp. 12, 13.
