3-21-13 - 2013 Natural Remedies and Hydrotherapy Workshop
Graduate credit is available
A number of health and wellness professionals will be presenting: Winston Craig, chair of the Department of Public Health & Wellness at Andrews University; Gerard Damsteegt, workshop director, MPH, RD, Andrews University; Vicki Griffin, Michigan Conference Health Department; Don Miller, ND, Uchee Pines Institute; David DeRose, MD, Weimar Center for Health & Education; and David Village, MSPT, Andrews University.
This five day workshop involves 30 hours of lectures and demonstrations along with hands-on labs. All participants who successfully complete the workshop will receive a certificate of achievement. Graduate credit (1-4 credit hours) is available for MA, MDiv, MAPMin students.
The lectures and labs will include topics such as how to treat the common cold or fever; charcoal therapy; use of garlic and other medicinal herbs; treating sprains and strains; hydrotherapy and the immune system; and much more.
Pastors and their spouses, health professionals and anyone who is interested in natural remedies or hydrotherapy is invited to attend this popular workshop. The workshop fee is $350. Repeat attendees and spouses are entitled to a 50 percent workshop fee discount (labs only if not full).
