Simultaneous translation to Korean language

Pastor Dwight Nelson
Pastor Dwight Nelson will present a seven-part series on Hope Church Channel titled “A Future and Friendship You Can Count On” that will be simultaneously translated into Korean by Pastor Don Kim, president of the Korean Adventist Church Association in North America.
The series consists of six nightly meetings from Sunday, September 23, to Friday, September 28, plus a Sabbath (Saturday) worship service on September 29. The program will originate from Baltimore First Seventh-day Adventist Church in Ellicott City, MD.
Each of the evening presentations will be aired live at 7:30 p.m. ET and rebroadcast at 7:30 p.m. PT. The Sabbath (Saturday) service will air at 11:00 a.m. ET/PT. Each will be on Hope Church Channel (Glorystar Satellite service channel 124) and streamed live at www.HopeTV.org and through Hope Channel apps for iPhone/iPad and Android devices.
  Pastor Don Kim
“Pastor Nelson has chosen seven important Bible topics to share—The Second Coming of Christ; the battle between good and evil; salvation; the Sabbath; the change of the Sabbath; death and resurrection; and baptism,” says Kim. Nelson’s titles include December 21, 2012: The Day the World Ends, The God-forsaken God, A Dying Queen’s Last Prayer, When History Played a Trick on Us, The Legend of Samara, and Buried Alive.
Nelson serves as senior pastor of the Pioneer Memorial Church of Seventh-day Adventists on the campus of Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, and is an adjunct professor at the school’s seminary. He is the author of several books and host of New Perceptions and The Evidence, both seen on Hope Channel and Hope Church Channel. Kim, a pastor for 30 years, is an experienced translator who has worked with Pastors Mark Finley, Doug Batchelor, and others at local events and during international broadcasts.
A release about the event says “To a civilization living on the edge of collapse, an ancient Book speaks with stunning clarity. But the Book is more than a prophetic revelation. Embedded in its heart is the profound offer of a friendship with the God of the universe. And it is His friendship that promises bright hope for our future.”
Kim explains that the series coincides with a celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of Korean Adventist Church ministry and evangelism in North America.
“God has blessed the Korean work richly in that there are now 127 Korean Adventist churches in US and Canada with nearly 15,000 members,” says Kim.
