7-24-12 Scoggins Tapped for Marketing Vice-President
Brings international experience
Howard Scoggins has been appointed as vice president of the Marketing Division of the Review and Herald Publishing Association.
Scoggins entered church work as a literature evangelist in rural Tennessee. Eventually, his talent in sales took him around the globe. Scoggins served as circulation manager of the Middle East Union Publishing House, established the Literature Ministries Seminary in Rwanda, and helped launch the publishing work in Russia after the fall of Soviet communism.
“He brings fire and passion to his work,” says Review president Mark Thomas. “We also need his international experience as we build partnerships with publishing houses around the globe.”
Scoggins, who previously served as assistant to the president, sees a great deal of potential for increasing sales at the Review. “There are so many people out there that never even see our products,” he says. “We just need to let people know what good resources we have.”
Scoggins and his wife Susan are members of the Sligo Seventh-day Adventist Church in Takoma Park, Maryland.
